Shipping & Return Policy


I. Shipping Policy

Processing & Delivery

Shipping rates are determined by the total weight of your order. Please allow up to 2 business days for processing. Orders submitted after 1:00 PM EST will begin processing the next business day.

Estimated delivery times vary by location but typically fall within 5–7 business days from the date of shipment. A tracking number will be sent to you via email once your order ships.

Shipping Delays

In the event that we are unable to fulfill your order within the expected timeframe, we will notify you promptly and offer your choice of a full refund (including original shipping charges) or an updated delivery date.

Taxes & Duties (International Orders)

All customs fees, import duties, and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. We are required by law to declare the full value of all items for customs purposes. Delivery timelines for international orders may be affected by local customs processing, which is outside our control.

Currency

All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD). If your payment method uses a different currency, the final exchange rate is determined by your card issuer or payment provider.


II. Returns & Refunds Policy

We stand behind the quality of our products. You may return or request a refund if at least one of the following conditions applies:

  • Love Your Scent™ Guarantee: You purchased the Love Your Scent™ Guarantee at checkout.
  • Unopened & Original Packaging: The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect: The item arrived damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered.

Return Window

  • Eligible returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
  • Once a return is initiated, you have 90 days to ship the product back. If the item is not received within this timeframe, the return will be closed and no refund will be issued.
  • You must ship returned item(s) within 7 days of receiving your return label or instructions.

Important: Items sent back without an approved return request will not be accepted. All returns and exchanges are subject to review and approval. We may request photos for verification.

Return Fees

A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the Free Returns add-on was purchased at checkout.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Free Returns Add-On

For just $5.00, you can add Free Returns to your order at checkout. Customers who purchase this add-on receive:

  • Prepaid return shipping label at no additional cost
  • No restocking fee — the 10% restocking fee is waived


The $5.00 Free Returns fee is non-refundable.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received at our facility, inspection and processing may take up to 10 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval. Please note that your bank or card issuer may require an additional 3–10 business days to post the credit.

If it has been more than 15 business days since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at support@scentafilter.com.


III. Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If any item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@scentafilter.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order details. These cases are handled at no cost to you — no return fees, no restocking fees — and may qualify for a replacement or full refund.


IV. Non-Returnable / Ineligible Items

  • Opened or used products (unless covered by the Love Your Scent™ Guarantee).
  • Sale items and gift cards.
  • Items not in original packaging or without proof of purchase.
  • Mystery items or promotional bundles marked as final sale.


Gift Cards: All gift cards are considered final sale, are non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash.


V. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. For the fastest resolution, submit a return request (if eligible) and place a new order. Your refund will be processed once the original item is received and approved.


VI. International Returns

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs (unless the Free Returns add-on was purchased), any export/import duties or taxes on the return shipment, and compliance with all applicable export and import regulations. Return windows and processes follow the same timelines outlined above, though additional carrier or customs delays may apply.


VII. EU Customers (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If your order ships to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days for any reason. Items must be unused, with original tags, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. This right is in addition to the return conditions above.


VIII. Authorized Purchases Only

This policy applies exclusively to orders placed directly through Scent-A-Filter (scentafilter.com). Products purchased through third-party retailers, affiliates, marketplace sellers, or distributors are subject to those sellers’ return policies.

  • Customers are responsible for securely packing and insuring returned items. Scent-A-Filter is not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
  • This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law regarding defective or misrepresented products.
  • We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your return.
