Clean the Surface
Wipe down the inside wall or outside surface of your trashcan where you plan to place the freshener. A clean, dry surface ensures the adhesive bonds firmly.
Avoid oily or wet surfacesPeel Off the Backing
Remove the protective film from the adhesive side of the Scent A Can freshener. Handle by the edges to keep the sticky surface clean.
Stick It in Place
Press the freshener firmly onto your trashcan. For inside fresheners, stick near the top rim on the inner wall. For outside fresheners, place on lower inside section of the lid.
